Like many musicians I have been performing since I was a child. Through the years I have gained experience in a variety of styles of music. From classical to jazz, from country to pop, each style of music has a different twang, but each needs to be approached by a solid technique. My voice students can expect to gain a solid foundation of proper technique. With that understanding they will be able to approach any style of music and successfully sing it in a healthy way. Additionally they will acquire basic knowledge of musical terminology, sight reading and music history. As students continue to come to lessons, various information on musical knowledge comes up viscerally. This allows the students to not only gain the ability to sing properly, but understand the music and genre itself. As a performer myself, I have a background in singing solos and in ensembles. I have been a member of music societies, honor choirs, and honor societies. I have had the ability to perform in many areas including traveling all over Florida, and Washington DC as well.
