**I have background checks complete through the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and am happy to provide upon request. I am a Nursing student at the University of Pennsylvania, Theatre Arts minor, with an extensive piano teaching background. I specialize in beginner's piano lessons and primarily teach children ages 5-18 in the West Philadelphia area, but I am open to traveling to Center City/other close areas if we end up being compatible! My price is greatly reduced, as this is a part-time job for me as a nursing student, and I want to make beginner's lessons feasible for families who are just starting to put their kids in piano. However, I have 14+ years of experience in piano, teaching, performance, and competition, and have been the recipient of over $1,000 in scholarships from the Boise Tuesday Musical Competition and the Senior Soloist Award from the Meridian Rising Star Competition as well as 2nd place in the Boise Piano Sonatina competition in the most advanced category. I am a great fit for a family who is just starting to think about starting their children on piano lessons, and anyone who is just wanting to start piano and build their abilities!
