French Horn with Michelle

Hello! My name is Michelle I love playing the French Horn! I've been playing the French Horn for a little over 8 years now, and have learned so much from performing with fellow musicians all over the United States (Michigan, Boston, New York, North Carolina, and Miami this upcoming summer). Throughout middle school and high school, I was actively involved in my school's marching band, wind ensemble, and symphony orchestra. I was also a participant in the All-Southern Honor Ensembles for 5 years and in the All-State Honor Ensembles for 3 years. Though most of my time is spent learning classical orchestral repertoire, I'm slowly learning about the art of Jazz and Improvisation– and am really enjoying it! Something I've always dreamt of trying out has been playing on a movie soundtrack (my all-time favorite movie is The Lion King)! But after watching the Harry Potter Series recently, there might be some competition there... Outside of practice and music, I love reading, learning about art history, and watching documentaries to learn about the little nuances of life and exploring others' unique perceptions of this wonderful life we live.
