I am an award winning singer-songwriter/producer. I have been playing out locally for several years now. I also write songs for Film & TV and have had several placements on shows like Reign, The Fosters, Benched, Longmire and more! I am fairly new to the music lesson game, but found that I love it. I have a teaching/training background which allows me to break down the material into small chunks of absorbable material. I love to teach and I love music and that combination is a winning strategy. We will talk about your goals, the music you would like to learn and plan a basic strategy tailored to your learning style. I teach in a low pressure low stress environment with lots of encouragement. No need for perfection here. We will work through this together! Oh and of course we will have FUN! Hope to have you as a student soon! - Michelle

My son is taking piano lessons with Michelle. He is interested in writing his own music and playing current pop music, and Michelle is working with him on that. Our experience has been great so far, I would definitely recommend Michelle.
The right teacher makes all the difference and that's really the case with Michelle. She's knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the subject matter. Highly recommend her!
Michelle is a patient and knowledgeable teacher who will take the time to create an individual lesson plan based on your goals. She has an amazing grasp of music theory, guitar playing, and how it all goes together. I highly recommend her as a teacher.
Michelle has made my son's introduction to piano a fun experience. Right away he could feel a sense of accomplishment as she taught him to play simple songs. She was also patient with him and encouraged his creativity as he wanted to "write" his own songs. 😉 We are signing him up for another block of lessons. We highly recommend Michelle!+ Read More

Michelle is an excellent teacher. She has an approach that is both low-key and instructive, which engages my 15 year old daughter's attention and ensures that she gets the most out of every lesson. I enjoy hearing my daughter practicing (and improving!) every night. Highly recommend Michelle.+ Read More
Michelle is the one of the best teachers my son has had for any type of lesson. My son took guitar from another teacher and basically quit. He hated lessons. He loves music though so I asked him to give it another try with another teacher and four months later he said he would . Michelle makes learning so much fun. MY son still isn't always loving to practive but he picks up the guitar when he feels like it and will play for hours sometimes because Michelle has taught him a less complicated and easier way to learn. I wish she was around when I was younger! He is also now taking voice from her.+ Read More
