Guitar with Michele Y.

Guitar has been a love of mine since I was 14, when I first saw someone entertaining people at a party. I began lessons for myself, at the age of 16. First I learned the basics and rock style music, and then I played and sang in some local Baltimore garage bands and in talent shows. I went on to major in music in college, at Towson State University, with classical guitar as my concentration. I began playing out professionally in my 20's, includings bars and restaurants like the Westminster Inn and at Fells Point, festivals like the Owings Mills Festival, weddings and parties. I love teaching guitar and seeing the student's eyes light up, when things click together to get that favorite riff or favorite song right ! I have 25 + years of teaching experience. I have taught over 100 students, including teens, adults, pre-teens, and special needs adults and children.
