I am currently a student at Belmont University studying piano pedagogy! I love teaching piano and one of my favorite parts of teaching is watching people discover and learn to love music. Piano students can expect to improve over time and will be playing on their own in no time! My goal, ironic though it may seem, is to help people be independent of me. I would like every one of my students to be able to confidently sit down at a piano and play their favorite song or learn a piece that they heard on the radio. I have taught students of all ages and experience levels. I have studied classical piano for 14 years and contemporary piano for 2 years. I am able to teach classical piano, chord charts or both if that is the preference of the student. My personal passion is classical music and I love sharing that passion with others. Regardless of whether a student chooses to pursue contemporary music, the skills found in classical music are essential for any piano student. I look forward to meeting you and beginning lessons!
