I really like Michael's method! My 5-year old started violin lessons, and after attending a few sessions I decided to take hybrid violin and octave viola ("chin cello") lessons from Michael as well. So far so good, and my kid has a good and fun time learning in-studio... *and* practicing at home!

I got the opportunity to hear my private lesson teacher play his instrument in a recital. It blew my mind. I was so proud and excited. He did a great job!!!! Way to go!!!!!!!! This invited gave me the encouragement that I needed to get back into my horn. Thanks Mr. Michael you're the best!!!!!!

I knew that I had made a good choice for a teacher when I saw some of Micheal's techniques. working with my son Alex. If Alex is not getting it, Micheal will try several ways to get the point across. From Warm ups to changing hands to learn a new piece. He does what it takes so that the student excels. He also infuses his personal experiences into the lesson when appropriate.
