Hello! I been playing the trombone for 22 years now and there is almost nothing I love more than sharing my knowledge with my students. In addition to trombone, I've played euphonium, tuba, guitar, bass guitar, and I am a proficient vocalist.

I hold a B.M. in trombone performance from the University of Rhode Island where I grew up, and worked as a cruise ship musician for a while before completing my M.M. at George Mason University. While living in the DC/Virginia area, I performed freelance with orchestras, concert bands and jazz bands in addition to my school obligations. Upon finishing my degree, I moved to New York City and played principal trombone with the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra. Through the symphony, I also became artist in residence at the Brooklyn Museum and put on multiple collaborative recitals.

Through the years, I have had the privilege of working with students on trombone, piano, guitar, trumpet, and tuba. I am equally comfortable working with students of any age. I like to take a relaxed approach to teaching, focusing on fostering enthusiasm for the music within the students and letting them experience the joy of self-discovery through music. No matter what my students' goal is, I want to help them get there through guidance, encouragement, and dedicated practice.
