I grew up in a restaurant my whole life in a Hibachi restaurant. I cooked to help out the family business but decided I wanted to learn more than just cooking Japanese dishes. I expanded my knowledge into different dishes that were not asian and perfected cooking steaks, shrimp, and other dishes. What I can guarantee is that if you take notes, learn hands on and apply the skills you learned at your home, you’ll notice a drastic improvement from where you started. Heck you’ll probably only need three sessions before you gain confidence on cooking your own recipe.
