I am a self taught musician. Later studied music in order to hone my skills. I now play music as my sole profession with over 150 shows a year as and acoustic solo artist. I am also a recording artist as well as a singer/songwriter. 

I hope to help people not only enjoy playing but understand the potential for music to be a successful career financially. I want to help people accomplish and learn.

My name is Mel Burns. I have been playing music for 22 years. Began as a self taught musician for my youth group when I was 14. I've been playing music and teaching students guitar sporadically in the church. I have also taught some college courses on song writing and now play acoustic guitar and sing as my sole profession and income.
