    About Melanie H.

Education is about teaching students how to become the active learner in their own education. I have taught for over 13 years in both elementary and secondary education. My students have ranged from those with special education needs to high-fliers that needed to be pushed to expand their knowledge. I have multiple degrees in teaching and instruction and I love watching a child's face light up when they finally make progress in the area they have been struggling with. Teaching I have spent time in general education classrooms for elementary/secondary and as a reading teacher. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!
