I have a background in classical symphony and wind ensemble music. I have played the flute and piccolo for 15 years, graduated from the Visual and Performing Arts Academy out of Elgin IL in 2007 and received the Arion award for musicianship. My experience in teaching private lessons has been primarily with beginner to intermediate level players, who either would like to learn for the first time, or that currently play in an ensemble and would benefit from one on one focused study.

I currently play with the Buffalo Grove Symphonic Band, am a performing and board member of the Lakeside Flutes, and also perform private events, such as weddings.
