Megan is absolutely THE BEST! After 10 online classes with her, as an adult student, I cannot believe how much I have improved, how much confidence I have gained, and most incredibly, how much passion I have grown for cello. Megan is so kind, encouraging, genuine, positive, passionate, and knowledgeable! Her instructions are so concise and effective, that she can pinpoint exactly what I need to improve and offer the best explanation/technique. I have small hands with short pinky fingers that used to lead to a lot of frustrations. After meeting Megan, I have learned to comfortably face my disadvantages while minimizing the negative impact by her wonderful encouragement and practical techniques. She is WAY BETTER than my other teachers, and I had both online and in-person experiences prior to studying with Megan. I felt so fortunate to have found Megan as my cello teacher!

The first lesson went really well. Megan is very welcoming and I felt at ease quickly.

Megan is so nice and patient to teach my daughter.
Thank you so much!

Great!

Megan is an excellent instructor and particularly good with children.

Pushes me but in a positive and encouraging way. The few classes I’ve had, my family keeps praising me on how much better i’be gotten. I am encouraged and motivated! So glad I decided it was time to look for another instructor, cause I was ready to hand in my bow! Happy, happy!

i loved the lesson

thank you Lottie loved it

Excellent instructor for adults. She has a great curriculum for adult students that really dives into techniques for making great sounds. I was concerned about having an online-only instructor, but she is able to pinpoint exactly what I can improve and explain it in a way that I can use to make adjustments. After several lessons, I would recommend her over an in-person instructor because it forces me to focus on the right posture and movements.

Very professional, knowledgeable and patient .

Megan is amazing! I was so nervous to start taking lessons, especially online, but she has made the process so easy! She is very patient and adapts well to her students pace. You can tell this is a passion for her, not just a side gig. She is very knowledgeable and wants to help you excel. The online process is also really great, I was nervous about it not being hands on, but it is so convenient and Megan is really good at showing you what you need to do and explaining things. TAKE THE LESSONS, you will LOVE it!

Megan is a very enthusiastic and encouraging teacher. My daughter just loves her lessons.

We love Megan! My daughter is so excited before each lesson and Megan is very kind and patient with her. I wish I’d found her sooner.

Megan provides cello lessons for my son. She is professional, patient, friendly, energetic, and knowledgeable. Her instruction is clear and concise. Megan is an AWESOME INSTRUCTOR.

Megan was wonderful. She put me at ease immediately and worked skillfully and gently to assess my skill level. I played when I was in school nearly 3 decades ago and wanted to remember the joy again of playing. I had forgotten a lot of what I had learned, but knew that with the right teacher, she could help me regain that. And I am hopeful she will help me with that. This was my first lesson, but I am looking forward to all of the ones to come. - Thank you so much Megan!

Great 1st lesson!!!!

Megan is about as perfect a teach as I could ever ask for! Such lovely, bright, calm energy! She is kind, gentle, intuitive, knowledgeable and clearly loves to play AND teach the cello.

She was great

Megan was perfect! Kind, informative, helpful, comfortable, warm and genuine with great energy. She made my first lesson a breeze, accessible and inspiring. Can’t wait for my next one!

SHE IS THE BEST!!! She helped me have more confidence in my playing and she fixed all of my main problems! Megan is the best instructor ever

Megan was both professional and congenial. She gave a lot of information, all of it necessary. I left feeling hopeful and encouraged rather than overwhelmed. She’s an excellent teacher and charming woman. Can’t wait for my next lesson!

She is awesome

Our 12 year old daughter Jaime has been taking Cello Lesson’s with Megan online and we have found that not only is she an excellent teacher but she is also an excellent role model with a positive attitude. She is very supportive and helps Jaime build self-confidence in her playing which also translates to every day life. She first started taking online lessons with Megan temporarily while we were traveling but when we came back we found Jaime Learned from Megan’s online lessons better then she did from our teacher Who would travel to our house. We would recommend her to anybody and everybody but hopefully you won’t use her because we would like to keep her to jaime for as long as possible. :)

She has been the most instructive, professional, and engaging teacher. She has given me specific, detailed instruction and reasons for all her directions. She has taught me more than any of my past teachers. She is also fun and friendly. She is doing a beautiful job.

Megan is patient and encouraging. Taking up cello after over 20 years was daunting, but she has put me at ease.

She is awesome!!!!
Megan has been great

Megan,
Is very knowledgeable about playing the cello and the techniques that are needed to become a better player. Enjoyed my lesson. Thank you.

Megan is extremely patient with an adult beginner but not afraid to jump right into serious technique concepts.

Wonderful first experience with the cello. Thank you Megan for making it fun and easy for me and my girls.

I loved my first lesson! Had a great time. Felt very relaxed. Megan is a great teacher. Bert patient and pleasant. She took her time to explain. I'm so excited and looking forward to our next lesson!

Megan Chartier is a professional cellist, and in combination with this has the rare ability to be a sensitive and thoughtful teacher. In a short time Megan took me from a complete beginner to understanding complex concepts covering all aspects of playing the cello. Her basic instruction, as well as insights to guide my understanding of how to hold the bow properly, correct finger position, swinging movements, appropriate weight, etc, took me further than I imagined. Throughout our lessons Megan stay tuned in to my instructional level, while accelerating my understanding of how to move towards excellence. Megan truly exemplifies "beginning with the end in mind." I highly recommend Megan as a Cello instructor.
