I believe that, where words fall short, there are infinite ways to express the human heart through music. It is my goal to teach introduction and advancement of musical knowledge in piano and songwriting through technique, theory, and regularly learning new skills. While taking lessons, students will learn to play piano and read music, develop discipline through consistent lessons and practice, and develop a sense of pride and accomplishment.

I have 5 years of piano-teaching experience. I have been writing songs for over a decade. I own a piano studio called Mrs. M's Piano Magic, as well as a songwriting business called A Song For You.

B.A. in Music--Washington State University. I have been recognized as honorable mention and as a finalist by VH1's Song of the Year songwriting contest for entries in their 2007 and 2008 competitions, in 2011 as a finalist in the Show Me The Music Songwriting Competition, and have won 2 Director's Awards from the Paramount Song.com Songwriting Competition in 2010 and 2012.
