I love to teach. I started teaching privately while earning my Music Engineering degree (B.S.) from the University of Miami. I studied jazz guitar at UM and during my 10 years as a guitarist I have played many other genres from folk to metal to pop.
Most of my tutoring experience during college focused on math courses, SAT prep and music theory.
I am great with kids; I taught summer camps at a town-run skatepark for 4 summers.
Give me a call to see if we are a good fit!
I play guitar, compose, and produce in my band Mint Trip. We met in music school and started playing in Miami, then moved to Los Angeles together in May 2016. We are signed to the local indie record label Blue Élan.

Max has been on time every time. He has established a very good rapport with my 15 year old (!!!) son which results in my son doing the homework and not dreading the sessions. My son seems relieved to be understanding the Algebra II concepts that he missed during the past term. He also seems way more confident and in a much better mood as if solving this issue for school was weighing him down before. In addition Max is very pleasant, very polite so his presence is welcomed by the rest of the family. Thanks!!!+ Read More
Max taught me guitar in a fun and effective manner. Would recommend to a friend!
