    I specialize in teaching beginning guitar students. The curriculum is customized for the student in regards to their goals and learning pace. Lessons with me are always fun and you learn the songs and techniques that YOU want to learn. All major styles are taught including Classic and Modern Rock, Alternative, Blues, Classical, Country, Progressive, Pop Top 40, etc. Acoustic, Electric & Classical guitars available for the student to use during the 30 or 45 minute lesson. All lessons are taught in my home studio in the OAK CLIFF, TX area. This is a safe, quiet, non-smoking, Christian environment that fosters creative learning while giving the student the best chance for reaching their musical goals!

    Matt is a wonderful teacher who has helped me grow with my guitar. He's patient and very relaxed which definitely helps me. I would recommend him to everyone, beginner or expert!

    Matt mixes in real songs with lessons that build early skills for someone just starting out. He also plays amazingly well and shows us how good I can be if I stick with it. Great time.
