I am a professional musician in San Diego who's conducted multiple domestic and international tours with various ensembles, all performing original music. I structure our lessons around giving you a deeper understanding for the music you are most passionate about - so that you can perform, analyze, emulate, and ultimately, create your own! I love music that is both emotionally and physically moving, and thus have been drawn to two major genres (but am not limited to these): the rich harmonies and rhythmic complexities of jazz music, as well as a strong interest in electronic music. I studied classical music for over 10 years before transitioning more into jazz and electronic music. I bring a gregarious and enthusiastic energy to every lesson, with the intention of 1) having fun, 2) coming to a deeper understanding of the music you love, and ultimately yourself!
