I approach each student differently according to their level and their needs. In most lessons the focus will be on improving technique through playing etudes and scales. I have experience in preparing students for the NYSSMA solo festival. I am also an experienced jazz musician and can teach improvisation. Looking at harmony and studying the masters of the music is how I teach jazz.

I am a saxophonist with 13 years of experience who just graduated from college. In my lessons I will go through all of the fundamentals that students need, but we will always have fun, because if we are not having fun then there is something I am doing wrong.
