Overview

Currently, Mary is teaching and performing in Boston. She finished her Master of Music in flute performance at the Hartt School in May 2016, where she studied with New York City Opera flutist Janet Arms. Mary received her Bachelor of Music in flute performance from Chapman University’s Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music studying with local Orange County artist Mary Palchak.

Mary has a teaching style that focuses both on technique and musicality as well as physical well being. Not only is she interested in giving her students excellent musicianship and finger agility, she also is very interested in making sure that her pupils play comfortably and sustainably. Mary strives to create a fun, friendly, and rewarding environment for both beginner and advanced students.
