Mark is a versatile drummer. He is a graduate (B.M.) from the Berklee College of Music. Mark has performed live with many national acts such as: Howard Jones, Gordon Lightfoot, Mitch Ryder, Earl Klugh, Leo Sayer, KC & the sunshine band and Tony Orlando. He has recorded with David Foster, George Clinton, Brea Starr and What It IS and Justine Blazer.
He has also been an in demand drummer locally, both live and in studio..
He is also teaching a large roster of students, clinics and master classes at such institutions as the Power Chord Academy(Chicago), Avanti Music Academy (Toronto), Michigan's Interlochen Arts Camp, and DePaul University's school of music.. Oberlin and Indiana U summer jazz camps and Cleveland Institute of music.
*** Lesson Details ***
I love to teach and do so according to the students needs. We'll have fun, but we can get intense. I specialize in the Moellor technique, methods from Chaffee, Chapin, Kaspik and Uribe, Chart reading and interpretation, 4 limb independence, working w/ loops and foot technique. ALL STYLES OF MUSIC AND DRUMMING.

I specialize in Moellor technique. Pedagogy of Gary Chaffe, Ed Kaspik, Jim Chapin among others. I focus on independence, chart reading styles interpretation and phrasing, as well as rudimental training.
