About Mark J.

Hello! I'm Mark J., and I am a major label industry-recognized producer, audio engineer, and percussionist. I have over 20 years of experience honing my craft. My passion is music technology, with expertise in Logic Pro X, music production, and recording techniques. I'm here to be your guide and source of inspiration on your musical journey. One of my proudest achievements was serving as a department head and teaching artist for the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra. There, I created engaging and comprehensive music curricula for charter school students. From music theory to music history, and from music business to technology, I covered it all. My students had the opportunity to explore their creativity and produce music using professional software. My musical prowess extends beyond percussion—I'm a multi-instrumentalist, including the piano. My solid educational foundation includes receiving a full academic scholarship to pursue a dual B.A. majoring in music synthesis and music business and management from Berklee College of Music. This has given me a deep understanding of music theory and the inner workings of the industry. My goal is to help you unleash your musical potential, regardless of your skill level. I offer personalized tutoring sessions that cater to your unique learning style and goals. Together, we'll dive into the fascinating world of music theory, music production, and recording techniques.
