Mark specializes in getting down to business by eliminating the paralyzing fear associated with opening up Ableton Live. With the seemingly limitless options available to every producer who uses the program, it is no small task to focus your creative energy and make a memorable song or remix. While many believe it's necessary to have top of the line recording gear to get a great sound, Mark is willing to challenge those assumptions and teach about making what we have available work for us.

Mark is a local Rhode Island musician/bedroom producer specializing in in-the-box, minimalist electronic music. He releases music online under the name Ark Arsenal.

With over five years of experience producing music in the Ableton Live environment, Mark can tailor lessons to beginner- and intermediate-level learners alike.

Mark is a self-taught Ableton guru.  This makes him very aware of various difficulties the self-motivated newcomer may face.  I had already played with Ableton on and off over the years prior to taking lessons with Mark; he is quick to recognize what I already know and focus on the gaps in my knowledge.  He's also just a really nice guy who you will undoubtedly end up chatting about your favorite artists with after the lesson concludes.
