Excellent instructor!

Best learning experience.
Professional and personable
I am so pleased to have Mario as my piano teacher! He is very kind, patient, and encouraging. His knowledge and skill are top notch and he brings out the best in his students!
I highly recommend Mario to students of any age.
Best piano teacher I've ever had
I took piano lessons with Mario when I was 10-15 years old until I moved out of state. Before Mario, I had 2 other piano teachers and this is what I always tell people: I learned nothing from the first one (she only lasted one or two lessons), I learned my foundations from my second teacher (who I was with from ages 4-10), and I learned my musicality from Mario.
Mario is incredibly passionate about music and passes it onto his students. Since I had already learned basics (i.e. I already knew how to read music), I didn't know what to expect. However, I never could have reached the levels of technical mastery, emotional connection, and style I have without him.
I took 1 hour lessons once a week with Mario for almost 5 years.
At that time, we (his students) were not performing in recitals. Instead, Mario prepared us for an annual audition for the American College of Musicians / National Guild of Piano Teachers, of which I am the recipient of multiple awards.
I am so grateful for the time I spent as his student!
Outstanding classical piano teacher
I have taken classical piano lessons for 4 years with Mr. Mario. I have taken piano lessons with other teachers before I started with Mr. Mario but Mr.Mario's teaching was a huge difference. His teaching methods were well advanced and even my old friends recognized it and said that I played so beautifully. I always loved to go and learn from him because learning with him was so much fun and exciting. He was very flexible with the hours which was so helpful to me. I am so grateful to have known him and to have the privilege to learn from him.
Best Piano Maestro
I have taken lessons with Mario for 8 years, and I must say that he is the most professional and personable maestro I have ever had the privilege of being taught by. I had absolutely no experience with piano prior to meeting Mario - he taught me everything from scratch. Having said that, Mario is exceptionally experienced and his teaching abilities are astounding. Unlike most teachers of musical instruments, Mario truly emphasizes the importance of discipline and proper technique, skills that are required for complete mastery and yet often neglected. However, he does so in an enjoyable and constructive way that makes one feel comfortable and eager to learn. Within the first three years of taking lessons with Mario, I won two auditions and two accredited awards from the American College of Musicians: National and International (13 years of age). I could not have possibly attained these honors without the instruction of such a knowledgeable and master piano teacher.
Great teacher!
I took lessons with Mario for 6 years and I learned a lot. He teaches at a comfortable pace and knows how to help you improve.
