I am a professional teacher, actress and singer. I graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education from Furman University and was immediately hired by a public school system to teach chorus and general music at two middle schools. While I was there, I more than tripled the number of students in the program and started a Gifted and Talented Chorus as an after school program. I left my position teaching because I was offered a spot in the prestigious Cap 21 Musical Theatre Program. I studied musical theatre extensively for two years and was taught by teachers who were also Broadway performers and had trained the likes of Lady Gaga, Anne Hathaway, and Kristen Bell as well as countless Broadway performers. The vocal technique training there is like none other and I'm excited to share what I learned there with my students! I am happy to work on a variety of vocal styles in my lessons such as Classical/Opera, Musical Theatre, and Pop/Rock. Our voices are amazing and can do so many things, I would love to help you find yours through a foundation of breath support and technique. I also am happy to coach acting/performance if you are preparing for an audition.
