I’ve been playing the steel pan tenor for 15 years and I have a passion for teaching. I’m a Berklee College Of Music Alumni 20’, in my 15 years being a steel pan player I’ve been taught by great musicians such as Grammy award winning trumpeter Terrance Blanchard, Grammy nominated saxophonist Tia Fuller, Ed Saindon, Len “Boogsie” Sharpe, Leon “Smooth” Edwards, Seion Gomez and Akua Leith. I’m currently a teacher at Berklee City Music, do you want to excel in different genres of music on the steel pan learning different improvisation concepts, playing techniques that will take your playing to the next level? with all of the knowledge I have gain in my 15 years of being a musician I will help you achieve these goals.

My name is Marcus Prince, I’m a patient and understanding person. I love my classes to be balance that in the midst of us working hard, having fun is mandatory. Learning is suppose to be fun and my aim is that my students are enjoying what they are learning every class.
