Overview

Hello Singers! I am an experienced teacher with a Bachelors and Masters Degree in vocal performance and offer a wide range of vocal expertise. I have been teaching voice for more than 14 years in the New York metro area to a busy studio, including domestic and international recording artists and celebrity clients. My students have done exceptionally well, with a many individuals going on to score very highly in NYSSMA, perform solo recitals at Carnegie Hall and attend prestigious music schools such as Laguardia High School and The Manhattan School of Music. My vocal studio and teaching has been featured in Classical Singer Magazine. Further, I have had several students go on to audition for Broadway shows and land parts with great success. I have extensive experience in a variety of singing styles, as I have performed in many musicals, sang for a jazz big band and auditioned for opera houses around the world.

With proper vocal technique you can finally use the voice you never knew you had! Learn to vocalize, use proper breathing technique, sing with more ease and agility and overcome the fear of singing in public. I teach students of all ages with beginning to advanced knowledge of voice technique in most styles- classical, Broadway, jazz, pop, rock, gospel...etc. Looking forward to hearing you soon!

Audition ER available.

· Singing · In studio Marcelle is a wonderful teacher. She always makes you feel comfortable, listens to your concerns, and gives great tips/ways into establishing a good technique. I had lessons with her over the summer, and in that little time I felt like I'd grown a lot. That fall, I auditioned for a show at my university that made me sing in a style I've never been comfortable with. It was a really strenuous process and nearly all of the singers strained their voices. My voice adapted because I had a great foundation.

· Broadway Singing · In studio Marcelle is a wonderful instructor, I'm very pleased to have found her. My son enjoys his lessons very much. I never thought I'd see the day where my shy, 15 year old son would be singing on stage at Carnegie hall! We are very pleased with Jake's progress and we couldn't be happier to have such a knowledgable, professional and kind teacher. Thanks for everything, Marcelle!

· Vocal Training · In studio My daughter's first lesson was great. She seemed to really like her and enjoyed herself, which is important, in addition to learning. Marcelle was kind, gracious and
took time to speak with my daughter and then got to work. I loved that she didn't waste any time.

I believe my daughter is very much looking forward to her next lesson.
