Piano with Luis R.

I began his piano studies at the age of ten in Mexico. Later in my life I obtained a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering and a Music Associate Degree with emphasis in piano. In 2016 I completed my Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at the University of Arizona, and received training and instruction as a Dance Musician at the University Of Arizona School of Dance. Recently I finished my Master’s degree in Piano Performance at Sacramento State University where I also took harpsichord lessons on the side. At Sacramento State I held positions as teacher assistant for the piano class for music majors, student assistant as singer accompanist, and Wind Ensemble pianist. During my studies I received the student research award and published an article entitled “How to Find Greatness in Music” in the university journal. Before moving to Las Vegas during Summer 2019 I worked as pianist for the Sacramento Ballet company, and collaborated with the Impulse/Anima Dance project and Linda Bair Dance Company. In addition I held a position as music ministry pianist at St. Robert Catholic Church while teaching privately in the Sacramento area.
