Lucy is a first-rate violinist. She can play with the best of orchestras or chamber music groups. She is also a wonderful, warm person, and an experienced teacher of violin and viola.

Lucy Manning and I have known each other for approximately 9 years. I have found her to be very dedicated to her craft and professional in every way. Lucy and I worked together for 6 year while I worked as a violin instructor at Old Dominion,. In addition, I was able to watch her teach at a Paul Rolland workshop at George Mason University where I again witnessed her excellent teacher first hand. I can easily say that she has a great deal of experience and knowledge of teaching both the violin and viola.

Ms Manning is FUN! I took up violin as a second instrument several years ago while in graduate school and found her to be an encouraging and efficient instructor. I greatly enjoyed those lessons, and always left fired up and ready to tackle the next week's challenge.

She is a topnotch conductor whose mastery of both violin and viola allow her to achieve great results from the string section. As a chamber musician, she promotes music of many genres and eras.
