Overview

Lorin Green has studied music since the age of nine including voice performance, violin, and flute. She graduated from Davidson Fine Arts School in Augusta, GA in 2016. For all four years of high school, she has taken private lessons with Mrs.Angela Massey of the Southwest Florida Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Green held the position of first flute with the DFA Symphonic Band, the DFA Symphony Orchestra, and has performed with the Augusta Flute Choir. Ms. Green has also performed with the United States Army Field Band. Her awards include first chair in the Richmond County All-County Band, first chair in the District Honor Band, Georgia All-State second round invitation, National Youth Orchestra Alternate, and Governor’s Honors Program semi-finalist. Ms.Green currently studies music performance at Kennesaw State University where she plays in the Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble and also studies with Mrs.Christina Smith of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
