Lisa has been teaching private lessons since 2011 and is currently available to teach lessons at Blues to Bach in Shawnee KS. Lisa loves teaching lessons to students of all ages and abilities. With a strong emphases on performance, not only will you learn technique but you'll also be able to share your gift with others in a way you never thought possible! Lisa's teaching style is professional, educational, and yet full of fun and excitement! Lisa received her education from Benedictine College in Atchison KS where she received a degree in music. As an expert in her field, Lisa looks forward to helping new students achieve their goals.

Lisa is a great teacher! She is kind and encouraging. She balanced challenging pieces with things that are purely fun to play to keep my daughter engaged. Whenever my daughter was having a bad day and it was time for her violin lesson, she always came back happy because Lisa is so cheerful and fun to be around. My daughter grew leaps and bounds musically in one year's time under Lisa's instruction.

Lisa is a great teacher. So encouraging and very knowledgeable . I had taken lessons previously and quit. Lisa is the one that made me decide to take lessons again. She so loves the violin that it encouraged me to try again.

My son has been taking violin lessons with Lisa for well over a year now, and continues to steadily progress. He looks forward to his weekly lesson and is eager to practice in between the times he spends with her. Lisa is clearly passionate about music and her students. While she does have a high expectation of her students, she has a teaching style that makes learning the necessary skills fun. Lisa has a very warm and inviting personality. My son is 11 years old and sees Lisa not only as a teacher, but as a friend. Lisa has always been eager to accommodate any special needs or requests we may have.
