    Lisa holds a music degree from Florida State University (voice principal) and has been singing professionally, teaching voice, and arranging vocal harmonies since 1990. Vocal performance styles include jazz, blues, country, pop, gospel, show, and rock. Awards include an Outstanding Jazz Soloist Award and Best Local Band Award. Lisa has sung for Royal Caribbean cruise lines, opened for Charlie Daniels and Bill Cosby and toured throughout the U.S. She has sung on advertising jingles produced by WOW 104.3 Dunnellon, FL, recorded vocals for "Bright Start Music" by Darcy Walworth, PhD. and continues to sing for her church and special events. Lisa combines the sensitivity of a music therapist (MT-BC, NICU MT) with the seasoned experience of a veteran singer, musician and teacher. Her thorough knowledge of the voice will help vocal students of any level improve, protect, and preserve their own voice while benefiting from her real-life musical experience in an encouraging and positive environment.

This specialized education and certification uniquely qualifies me to work with those who may experience emotional issues in connection with their voice, in addition to many other concerns that may be addressed with music therapy.
