Liam is a certified Tai Chi instructor by Master Jesse Tsao (12th Generation Chen style lineage) of Tai Chi HealthWays, San Diego CA. Liam is a certified Qi Gong instructor by Master Tina Zhang of Wu Tang Physical Culture Association. He is also a certified Yoga instructor and author of the book Qigong for Beginners: Three Full Workouts for Strength and Balance, New York: Create Space, 2017.
He has studied Tai Chi and Qigong with Sifu Yu Guo Shun, Sifu Frank Allen, Sifu Tina Zhang and Sifu Damo Mitchell.
Liam is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor by Dr. Paul Jerard of Aura Wellness Center.

I have been taking Liam's Tai Chi/ Qi Gong class for nearly two years now. He is a dynamic teacher that is sensitive to different types of learning paces and styles (both eastern and western) and employs both in his classes. His explanations are simple and he always relates the movement back to its origin as a martial arts defense/offensive move which helps one establish the intention behind the movement. I have learned yang short form and chen style short form from him. I would highly recommend that you take his class if you are interested in beginning or continuing a tai chi practice. I have taken many lessons with Liam for a year and a half now. He is an instructor who cares about the well being and overall health of his students. He is knowledgeable and is always careful to have students work within their limits.
