I have been taking Liam's Tai Chi/ Qi Gong class for nearly two years now. He is a dynamic teacher that is sensitive to different types of learning paces and styles (both eastern and western) and employs both in his classes. His explanations are simple and he always relates the movement back to its origin as a martial arts defense/offensive move which helps one establish the intention behind the movement. I have learned yang short form and chen style short form from him. I would highly recommend that you take his class if you are interested in beginning or continuing a tai chi practice. Through my practice I have found a healthy way to manage stress and anxiety.

I have taken many lessons with Liam for a year and a half now. He is an instructor who cares about the well being and overall health of his students. He is knowledgeable and is always careful to have students work within their limits. He taught me about 'wu wei,' or 'effortless effort,' a Chinese philosophy about accomplishing things without straining yourself. I always get something out of his classes.
