Greetings- My name is LeRoy Bach and I'm a Grammy and Gold-record winning musician, with 40+ years experience as a professional musician and music teacher. I was a member of Wilco for seven years, including the making of "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot." I've also recorded and toured with Theaster Gates, Liz Phair, Andrew Bird, Beth Orton, Sonny Smith, Iron and Wine, Ryley Walker, and many others. I've performed numerous times on Leno, Conan, Letterman, and more. I attended Berklee College of Music and have a Bachelor's degree in jazz performance from Columbia College. I've performed in musicals in both New York and Chicago, (I can read music very well.) I'm currently offering lessons on guitar, songwriting, music theory, music production and arranging, as well as improvisation. I have over 30 years experience as a private teacher. Lessons are tailored to each student's particular interests and process. We'll work on specific songs, techniques and musical ideas, while also looking at broader musical contexts and traditions.
