Leanna is incredible. She's kind and patient and extremely easy to work with, which is rare for someone with such deep experience in a field. One thing that continued to stand out and amaze me is her unbelievable ear. Even in remote sessions via zoom, she could tell immediately if one note in a chord or progression was off, and helped me fix it. I've heard the same from other students of hers. If you're a serious student, considering music as a career, or in any competitive sense, Leanna is an irreplaceable ally with the skill to push you further than you may have thought possible. Absolutely recommend.
As a beginner, taking lessons with Leanna has offered a structured approach to learning the fundamentals of piano, along with developing good technique, which has made the process less daunting. After only a couple of lessons, I feel more confident not only in my playing, but also in understanding elements of music theory (like reading sheet music) that I expected to be more difficult to grasp.
Excellent goal-oriented teacher! Leanna is able to provide effective feedback and instruction to an advanced student like myself. I was impressed with the detailed coaching provided in the online environment.
