Study voice with San Francisco Opera Chorus mezzo-soprano

I am an engaging and passionate voice teacher. As an opera singer, I believe technique is the foundation of great singing, regardless of what genre you choose to sing! I teach all genres of music and all ages. I have taught young children through seniors and cater each lesson to the individual student. Some of the technical topics I cover include: healthy technique including the Bel Canto style, learning how to belt for Broadway in a healthy and sustainable way, bridging the passagio gap, and expanding your range. Other musical topics I cover include: sight singing and ear training (I use the Vaccai method and moveable Do), singing in harmony, singing in different languages (I teach diction in almost all languages), and acting through singing. My goal through our lessons together is to help you reach your goals. We make a plan and then work together on manifesting that dream into a reality. I have taught singers who have been on Broadway as well as singers who are just starting out. I would love to help you on your personal journey of vocal comfort, ease and technical proficiency.
