Hey there! My name is Lauren and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private and group lessons since 2010. I get incredible fulfillment watching students grow and succeed at any goal or stage of life. I love helping them discover who they are as an artist. I'm also a Church Music Director along with my husband here in Houston which allows us continue growing musically! We do double sessions for students who receive guitar lessons with him as well at the same location. I'm a joyful, caring person and my teaching style is unique to your personal goals. I strive to capture the vision of what you want to create or sound like and work towards that! Most importantly, I care about you, and we have fun while you learn! There's more potential than most people even know they have. Whatever you desire, my passion is to help you... there really is no dream too big or small. EXPERIENCE & AREAS OF SPECIALTY: 17 yrs experience w/ 4 yrs teaching - tone, range, clarity, individual style, vocal care, projection, dynamics - show preparation, auditions & contests, performances, nerves - songwriting, creativity, uniqueness, melody, harmonizing - concerts & shows, choir, bands... even secret shower singers! - overall advancement, confidence etc. - vocal injury or strain recovery I have personally had the struggle of overcoming vocal nodules and know the fear of recovering your sound. It is more common than most realize and many of the artists you hear on the radio have been treated for injuries.
