Lauren began playing piano at age 5 when she first discovered her love for learning and playing music. As a teenager, she studied extensively on her instrument developing her knowledge, musicality and talent for the piano. She went on to minor in music at Rutgers University while also earning her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Quickly realizing where her true passion lie, she went on to further her musical studies through college courses on Coursera. Lauren's calm, soothing personality lend perfectly to her music instruction. She provides each student with the tools they need to reach their own musical goals, while also ensuring that they gain a full knowledge of their instrument. She enjoys teaching a broad spectrum styles and always makes sure to customize each lesson plan to the individual students needs and goals as a musician. Cultivating the fundamentals of music theory and making sure each and every student nurtures their love for music is her goal for each of her students.
