LauraBeth is a lover of the arts and arts education. She began performing herself when she was in Kindergarten in Noah's Ark singing the solo "The Little Light of Mine". She continued teaching theater to students at a variety of after school and community theater programs. She went to Kennesaw State and got her BA in Theater and Performance Studies with a track in musical theater. She has been seen singing on stages all across Atlanta. She has students that are now studying voice at Juilliard, NYU, and AMDA. In 2015 she was nominated for Best Director and Best Musical at the Shuler Hensley Awards for her production of Godspell. She was also region champion at GMEA one act two years in a row with her musicals. She loves teaching, and wants to help YOU find your voice.

I cannot express enough how much I have enjoyed working with LauraBeth so far!! Not only is she so incredibly talented, but she knows how to teach in a way that I can relate to and understand clearly. Having never taken any vocal training in my life, as well as being terrified to sing or perform in front of others, I am truly a beginner. She has made me feel so comfortable, and I cannot wait for my first play!! I already feel more confident in my voice and we have only had three lessons. LauraBeth is truly such a gifted performer, singer, and teacher. I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn from her and highly recommend her as you or your child's instructor!

I was the piano accompanist for the solo, duet, and ensemble vocal training for a popular musical theater show where LauraBeth was the musical director. She coached the soloists and the ensemble, both technically and musically, to perform at the highest level of their musical potential. I witnessed entry level singers sing with confidence after being trained as well as encouraged by LauraBeth. In addition, advanced singers sang at their highest level. Some received award nominations. Whether you a beginner or advanced, young or old, she's the best.

Laurabeth is an accomplished teacher and performer. Our previous experience with her directing a musical my daughter was involved in gave me confidence she could mentor my daughter in her pursuit of developing her voice for theatre and stage. Her first lesson Laurabeth was able to see her strength and weaknesses. She gave her tools to work with between lessons. Laurabeth made my daughter feel comfortable in her presence while challenging her to push past her limitations. My daughter's confidence and stage presence has improved. I am thankful my daughter has a teacher who is invested in her abilities and opportunities for the future.
