Elem Music Teacher with a BA from Texas Tech. I have taught piano lessons since 1991. I have had personal piano studios in every town I have been in. I taught for 12 years in Whitney Texas as I taught at Whitney Elem. I taught 5 more years out in Round Rock Texas, through Musika. and other places.
My major instruments are piano, trumpet, and guitar. Once I learned how to play chords on the piano from learning music theory I was enabled to understand how writing songs works. What an adventure I have had in writing songs. I have written over 700 songs. You can find me on YouTube, check it out!

When you take lessons from me we use the Bastien series and I like to add other songs, whether it be christian praise, hymns, or classical pieces of music, composers such as Bach, Chris Tomlin or Scott Joplin. its your choice. I want you to enjoy the songs and styles you like to play. No matter what level you are on you will enjoy learning as a beginner, or refreshing your past knowledge of playing.

Why not take lessons today, it's never too late to start. Music is a gift. Don't say, I wish I knew how? Step out and lets learn and grow together. Let's Go!

Laura is a great teacher. She challenges you and is very patient no matter how many times you play the wrong note. As I have began taking piano lessons again she has made it extremely easy to find it enjoyable. I highly recommend her as an instruction to future students.
