NEW!!! Now available Fridays from 1-6 PM for in-studio piano lessons (in my home). I am a Bulverde area piano teacher offering lessons to students ages 7-adult in the Bulverde area and online. Music and teaching are my passion. I have been playing piano since childhood, was trained in college as well as in private lessons at the Musical Arts Center in San Antonio, and have now been giving beginning and intermediate piano lessons since 2012. I am also a vocalist and flute player, having participated in church choirs as pianist, flutist, chorus member, and solo vocalist. TEACHING STYLE - THEORY – all lessons include some element of music theory including key signatures, major and minor scales, chords, intervals, and other musical notation - MUSICIANSHIP – lessons include ear training, ability to recognize major and minor sounds, intervals, and rhythm patterns - TECHNIQUE – this includes finger exercises to help strengthen the fingers, wrists and hands and develop finger dexterity - REPERTOIRE – including songs of various styles and memorization of important passages within songs - RECITALS – Spring and Fall recitals will be offered for all students LEVELS TAUGHT Beginner - Intermediate FINAL NOTE - I teach children, teens and adults. - All students are different, and my philosophy is to accommodate those differences by being flexible in the lesson plans. - I don't believe in stressful lessons - learning music is fun, creative, and enjoyable STUDIO EQUIPMENT Yamaha Grand Piano
