I have performed and studied horn for 14 years and have been teaching privately and coaching chamber ensembles for 5 years. I hold undergraduate and graduate performance degrees from Northwestern University and the University of Maryland and now perform regularly in the DC Metro area. As a teacher, I strive to create a fun, relaxed, and challenging approach to horn playing designed around each student’s individual curiosities, goals, and strengths. My three biggest goals in teaching are: to help students play as efficiently as possible, to help students teach themselves, and above all, to instill in students a love for music and horn playing. I am passionate about teaching all levels of horn players!
