Lakewood Symphony

http://lakewoodsymphony.org The Lakewood Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is a community orchestra in Lakewood, Colorado that performs at the beautiful Lakewood Cultural Center. The LSO performs a variety of concerts every year featuring works from Bach, Beethoven and Brahms to Vaughn-Williams, Stravinsky, John Williams and everything in between. Our season includes seven concerts each year – four Classical concerts, one Pops concert, a Christmas concert and a Family concert.

We customize each events’ set list to meet your wants and needs, and are able to arrange and prepare specially requested music.

Denver Pops

http://www.denverpopsorchestra.org The Denver Pops Orchestra, also known as the Mostly Strauss Orchestra, is a community-based nonprofit organization that has been serving up great music in metro Denver for over 30 years. The 55+ members who volunteer their time and talents represent a variety of ages and vocations. The ensemble aims to serve Denver area communities through performances of familiar music, including a wide range of music from light classical and symphonic to operatic movements, Broadway and movie tunes to dance band and pops compositions. Denver Pops performs regularly from September through May, offering a variety of concerts, formal dances, benefits, and special events.

Our role as the national support organization for the yoga community is to ensure that the practice of yoga will keep growing, so that more people will connect with yoga and be transformed. The American Viola Society is a nonprofit organization of viola enthusiasts, including students, performers, teachers, scholars, composers, makers, and friends, who seek to encourage excellence in performance, pedagogy, research, composition, and lutherie. United in our commitment to promote the viola and its related activities, the AVS fosters communication and friendship among violists of all skill levels, ages, nationalities, and backgrounds.

The American String Teachers Association, founded more than 60 years ago, is a membership organization for string and orchestra teachers and players, helping them to develop and refine their careers. ASTA's members range from budding student teachers to artist-status performers. The organization provides a vast array of services, including instrument insurance, an award-winning scholarly journal, discounts on publications and resources, annual professional development opportunities, and access to collegial network of colleagues throughout the string profession.
