    About Kyrstyn W.

    Music has always been a big part of my life and my music teachers throughout school were a big inspiration to me. Their passion for music fed my love and passion of music which inspired me to become a music teacher to pass on a love of music to more students. I believe that music is a very important part of education and that it helps not only with the other subjects in school, but also with the overall school experience for students. I have played trumpet for 20 years since I was in elementary school. I have two music degrees from Lebanon Valley College; a B.S. in Music Education and a B.A. in Music (Trumpet). I have played in many different ensembles including marching band, concert band, full orchestra, jazz band, brass quintet, and trumpet ensemble. I have taught elementary music for 8 years, but I also have experience working with beginner and intermediate band students.
