Focus on teaching correct technique of playing the saxophone. Also a strong emphasis on music theory and application. For students who wish to pursue it I also can give a focus on improvisation, jazz theory, and concepts. 

I was lucky enough to be inspired by great teachers when I started playing the saxophone, and they are part of the reason I enjoy teaching so much. Being able to pass on that excitement and knowledge is a privilege.

Hello, my name is Kyle Tefft. I'm a saxophonist and student of music. My personal focuses are Jazz improvisation, music theory, and teaching. 

Music is fun and I feel very lucky to be able to play music and share it for a living. I hope to share that fun and excitement of discovery with my students. I live for the light-bulb moments!
