Percussion with Kristi T.

I am a passionate music educator with 10 years of experience. I am an active educator, clinician, arranger and performer in Central Texas working with groups and individuals at all skill levels. I am the Co-Director of the newly formed WGI Open class group Violet Crown Independent and am also on staff as a front ensemble instructor with Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Texas State University where I studied under Genero Gonzales, Kari Klier and Bobby Lopez. In 2011, I earned the opportunity to perform with the PASIC 50th Anniversary Marimba Orchestra in Indianapolis, IN. I was also afforded the opportunity to perform showcase performances at PASIC in 2003 and 2006 with the Brazoswood High School Percussion Ensemble. Teaching music in all areas is my passion. Whether it is in the area of percussion performance, native percussion, drum set, marimba or in music theory and aural training I can help you grow and achieve your goals as a musician.
