I lived in Central and South America from 2005 to 2015 (Costa Rica, Colombia, and Argentina) and have my Colombian residency. I also have traveled in many other of the Latin American countries, taught underprivileged children in Colombia and Peru, translated, and interpreted for medical personnel. While living in Bogotá, Colombia my accent was said to be like the nationals'; when I went to Argentina my accent was recognized as being from Colombia. I have 9 years of teaching experience. I also have had the privilege of dealing with people from infants to over 100 years of age!
