In short, I'm a young professional musician from southern California working on a bachelors of commercial music and jazz performance at California State University Fullerton. For teaching I specialize in electric bass and acoustic guitar, but can also play/teach electric guitar and upright bass. Currently my main work comes from gigging with my jazz trio at restaurants, bars, etc. I also play weekly at a church on their worship team, and perform popular music at weddings and other private events when the gig arises. While I am not the most seasoned veteran of life and music, what I lack in experience I believe I make up for in my passion for music and helping other people. My main goal in giving lessons is making sure that the student is getting the most value they can out of the time we have together. I want to see you succeed. I want to see your questions turned to answers that inspire deeper learning and exploration. Most importantly, I want to see you have fun with music. These lessons are for you, and every student is different. Our lessons will focus on your individual goals with music and the instrument. Just barely picking up the instrument? No problem! We'll work on fundamentals together to give you a solid foundation to build the rest upon. Already have some fundamentals down and want to work on learning your favorite songs? Great! I'll help teach you the song, but also how to develop the skills required to learn songs on your own. We'll work together to build and execute a plan that works for you.
