I have been a teacher for several years in subjects ranging from Music to English. My most recent experience has been with ESL students, which I find to be most fulfilling. I earned a 94th percentile GRE Verbal score and have coached several students in test prep and general writing. As a trained singer, dialects and accents are areas with which I have extensive experience. The mechanics of phonation and speech have been a theme throughout my career and I have developed an acute sensitivity to the intricacies of diction in various languages. I hope I can be of service to you! On a personal note, I enjoy long-distance bike rides, classical music (2,500 vinyl LPs in the collection), personal essay writing, movies, and cooking. I love learning and spend almost all of my free time learning about something.
