More about Keri...
Keri has loved music for as long as she can remember. She started piano lessons at age 4, and eventually switched to violin at age 8. At 10 years of age, she was accepted as a 1st violinist into the Napa Valley Youth Symphony. She spent the next eight years honing her craft, learning as much as she could, and had the incredible experience of performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City with the Napa Valley Youth Symphony her Junior year of High School.
While Keri always nerded out listening to Bluegrass and Celtic tunes and learning them by ear (entire albums!) for fun, she practiced multiple hours every day studying classical technique and started composing and arranging her own pieces of music in high school.
Keri received her B.M. in Jazz Studies from Sonoma State University in 2015, and graduated with Distinction. Her musical goals have been centered around being diverse, open-minded, and adaptable, which has helped her cross many genres, play as a guest in several local bands, and adapting her style to whatever was necessary in the moment.
Keri received a Telly Award in 2015 for playing violin and singing the music on a Toyota Commercial, spent six years in the band "Anadel" as the violinist, background vocalist, and writer/arranger (releasing three albums), and eventually started composing music alongside a team of five other composers for TellTale Games: The Walking Dead. She also composed music for a few TellTale Games trailers, including one for "The Wolf Among Us". Keri has been featured on numerous albums (as player, producer, and arranger), and is currently spending her time writing and producing her first solo album, set to release in January 2020.
